He took the key out of his pocket, opened the door and tried to start the engine.
"What's the problem? Can't you crank it up?"1 wondered Innokentiy.
"I don't know what's the problem with it. Something minor. I guess, the battery is down."2
"But in that case," objected Innokentiy, "the starter wouldn't work either!"
"Yeah, you got a point.3 Let's pump some gas into the gas tank. I'll be right back,"4 he said and went to get some gasoline.
Innokentiy started feeling sorry to have gone there. The man came back and pumped in some fuel. But the car just wouldn't work.5
"Whatever, man. Let's try another car. I would recommend you this one," said the salesperson pointing to a red "Hyundai."
"How much is it?"
"It's four hundred and thirty dollars."
"Is anything wrong with it?"
"No, it's just dented a bit. It's been in a minor accident. And sometimes the clutch doesn't work right. Wanna test-drive it?"
"Ok," agreed Innokentiy.
"Do you have a driver's license?"
Yes. He had one. Innokentiy sat behind the steering wheel, started the engine and started to drive. The engine was making strange sounds. It sounded like it was just about to go out of order.
"What's this noise coming from the motor?" asked Innokentiy.
