He had hardly said this when entered Innokentiy's father and said:
"Okay guys, it's time, let's go."
Half an hour later they were at the airport. All the other guys had come already. They also had managed to check their baggage in and were just waiting for Innokentiy and Alex.
Alex approached the check-in counter.
"Your ticket," asked the airline agent.
"Right here, flight number 306."
"I know," grinned the girl. "Put your baggage on the conveyor
belt. Do you want it checked all the way to New York?"
"Yeah. How many carry-ons am I allowed to have?"
"Only one. But you can also have a laptop computer,
camcorder or a purse together with your carry-on luggage."
"Ok, that's cool."
"Now, here's your boarding pass, gate number four."
Innokentiy went through the same thing, and at this point came the time to say good-bye to the innumerable relatives and friends that had gathered at the airport. They started to give hugs and kisses to one another. The moment was most difficult for mothers, sisters, rare wives and girlfriends.
If they knew what was going to happen with their husbands and boyfriends in one of the United States' top resorts, they wouldn't cry so much, I'm sure!
"I'm gonna miss you!"4 said Grigory's wife in tears.
Grigory just nodded in return.
