Introduction
Well, my dear friends, this is a funny story about some Armenian guys and girls who decided to travel to the United States of America to work and work to travel. Why? Some of them needed money, others wanted to brush up, improve their English, see the famous sites of the United States, acquire new friends, change their lives and obtain new experiences.
But still, I think they were all lying, both to themselves and the others. I guess, all they wanted was an adventure. And guess what? All of them had their adventures, because they are bound to happen1 in such a distant and long trip. And all these adventures were gathered by me, the Ghost of Armenia, who was in charge of the guys and who saw everything that happened to them.
Now I decided to share everything I saw and heard with you.
But first, let me describe the guys to you.
Males:
Alex: 21 years old. Likes girls too much, smokes too much. English: talks too much but says too little.
Ashot: 27 years old. Married, has one child but wouldn't mind to go out with an easy Russian (or why not, Armenian) girl. A hot-tempered liar.
Arman: quite young, very tall, dark hair. An innocent and easygoing guy.
Gurgen: 26 years old. Married, has a kid but for cute chicks he is single. An ill-mannered sly niggard.
Hakob: 23 years old. Dark hair, hairy body, medium height, somewhat bald; an Armenian looking skinflint. Second visit to the United States, speaks English well enough to make himself understood.
Harut: 22 years old. Single, chestnut eyes and hair, medium height. Speaks English well.
Samvel: 28 years old. Chief executive of a big company; also a
continuing student, was looking for some change.
Levon and
Females:
Tamara: 24 & 21 years respectively. A married couple (but I wouldn't tell if I didn't know). She is a molly-coddle; he is a victim.
Ani: 20 years old. Learns English and is doing well.
Anna: a 19-year-old coquette. Unfortunately, she is not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages in the United States: she's underage.
Nelly: 22 years old. Young, attractive. Seems to be a nice girl.
And so…
