"Anything else? Would you like anything to drink?
"What kind of sodas do you have?"

"Oh, you mean pops. We got Coke, Doctor Pepper, Sprite, lemonade, Hi C."
"How much are refills?"
"No, we don't got no refills, hon."
"Do you have natural juice?"
"Yes, but we only got OJs."
"Excuse me, O whats?
"OJs, orange juices."

"Oh, ok," laughed Ani with embarrassment, "I'm gonna get an orange juice."
"Is it for here or to go?"
"Excuse me?"
"Are you gonna have it here or take it with you?" repeated the girl, "will you eat it here or take it away?"
"Oh, I'm gonna eat it here, please."
"Anything else for you?"
"No, I'm all set, thank you. How much do I owe you?"
"Three dollars and thirty-five cents, please."
Ani stretched out a five-dollar bill.
"Dollar sixty-five is your change, here's your receipt. Next please!"
Ani took her meal and sat at a corner table. She was about to start enjoying her meal, when a tall black guy with freckles approached her and asked smiling, displaying his white shining teeth:
"May I join you, lady?"
Ani was confused. She was at a complete loss.
