"Maybe they have broken up?"
"Hell no!" exclaimed Ani.
"What the fuck! He looked like a decent guy but turned out to be a scumbag! How could he disclaim his child, I don't get it! Well, I don't blame him. He took advantage of my naivety. I guess, he just wanted to fuck me, that's all. But you know what, he's a looser. That's his problem."
Ani got pale. She just did not know what to reply or even say.
"What makes you think that?" she said just to say something.
"You just don't get me, do you?" answered the girl.
Ani realized that she didn't know Gurgen at all. He wasn't the shy and reserved guy she used to know.
The situation was smoothed by Harut. He came up to Ani and exclaimed cheerfully:
"Alex and Nelly are coming tonight!"
"Oh, great," said Ani without apparent joy.
They arrived in the evening. Harut was very glad to see Alex and Nelly again.
"Hey! Whassup7 guys? Did you have a nice trip?" he wondered.
"Not really. It was very tiring. We couldn't sleep well."
"That's ok. You'll have plenty of time to sleep while you’re here. I have talked to Jeff, our old Greek friend. He said you both could stay with him."
"Oh, you know Harut, Alex has told me about the apartment and that it's pretty far from you, guys. Can I stay with you?
